So my once brilliant idea of zip-tieing waterbottles next to the radiator wasnt actually the best of ideas... The passenger seat handle is much better. yea yeah... get a backback.... get a camelback... yadayada... I know. Ill get one soon enough... Better yet, ill get more creative and make some sort of water bottle holder/saddle.

In all honesty, i dont think i really want to change anything about this machine.

OH yeah, has anyone else had their helmet locked to the bike, but you get ready to go and start it up, only to remember you still need the key to get your helmet off. Yeah, um, i did that in front of a ton of watching people today...

Always pretend like you know what you're doing on your motorcycle, and no one will give you a second look. If anyone is staring at you - just stare right back. If they keep staring - drop your visor - if it's tinted - they'll look away 95% of the time. It freaks people out when they suddenly can't see your eyeballs...

Mirrored visors ftw!
(that's mine ;)

I definitely second your notion of at least looking like you know what you're doing XD

Freakin sweet bike!

And your water bottle holder is ingenious! Love it! Almost looks legit (except for the extra half a foot of zip-tie sticking up :P )

Tankbag?

I bought a pair of saddle bags and I think that's the best thing I could have done. Being able to throw a water bottle or a lunch cooler or my messenger bag in them makes riding so much nicer than wearing a backpack.

Hahah, yeah i try to act like i know what im doing. I just dont make any eye contact. No tinted visor yet.... Sooon.

And yeah the bike is pretty mint for something with 53K miles on the clock. It really draws attention from older men though. And im only 21 so a few of my encounters have been a little awkward haha.

Im getting the mirrored one soon! I decided to screw the dark tints because the reflection is much cooler.

Most of the ones are these big bulky things that go up to your chest. I mean i kinda get that it will serve as a resting spot, but they look hideous especially if im just doing day riding and carving up some corners. Im trying to find the tail bag that goes on the seat, thats about half the size of a laptop bag. But its a challenge since they dont make new bags for old bikes, so ill have to find universal thinsg.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the tank bags myself, especially when I have to get gas every other day. I found the universal Nelson Riggs soft saddle bags to be working really well. I have a Katana and I don't think they look too awful on a sportier bike.
